TRNSYS type 205 – Detailed Model of Flat-Plate Solar Collector

Type 205 has implemented a detailed model of flat-plate collector into TRNSYS system simulations. Detailed model allows to analyse the geometric, optical and thermal properties and their influence on the annual performance in given solar system. It is also possible to perform a sensitivity analysis for different heat transfer models (wind convection, sky radiation, natural convection between absorber and cover / frame, forced convection in pipes, etc.).
